Born and Raised in Houston Texas, Maiya has always had a love for music. Her family is filled with musical talents with backgrounds in radio and music production. Maiya is known for her unique approach to DJing combining new school with old school and catering to audiences of all ages. She started her career in 2018, and since then has played for artists like Kanye West, Justin Combs, Ginuwine, Trey Songz, Jaquees, and more. Corporations like Don Julio, Crown Royal, Foot Locker, and Shoe Palace also have trusted her to provide the vibes.   Maiya is focused on expanding the Papaya brand into both fashion and creative directing.
